During the Global Mayors Dialogue · SCO Summit Cities, Igor Zapolskii, Minister of the Development Department of the Russian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, noted during an exclusive interview with China News Network that Russia and China have plenty of cooperation projects in many fields, including technology and new energy, hence the great demand of talent influx and resource investment.

In the future, Zapolskii said that both countries should send more inspection delegations to each other, seeking new cooperation opportunities through different forms of tourism.
