Vessels carrying coal, grain, cooking oil, construction materials, and other essential supplies shuttled back and forth along the Wuzhou section of the Xijiang River, the upper reach of the Pearl River in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Friday. Known as the "Golden waterway," this main shipping route was bustling with transport activity.
