The ship was fueled with domestically produced green methanol for the first time on Wednesday. Compared with traditional fossil fuels, the 200 metric tons of green methanol can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 325 metric tons, equivalent to the carbon sink effect of planting over 19,000 trees.

With a total length of 366 meters, a molded beam of 51 meters, and a maximum loading capacity of 16,136 TEUs, the container ship will be put into operation on the route from Yangpu Port to the Americas.
