In 2017, Xizang launched a round of its Winter Tour Campaign to attract more tourists to the region in the wintertime.
In 2023, Xizang has received over 55 million tourists and gained 65 billion yuan ($9.18 billion) in tourism revenue, both of which reached record highs.
