During a continuous cold wave, breathtaking patterns of enormous trees recently emerged on the frozen Qiantang River in east China's Zhejiang Province.
The rise and fall of the tides generated the natural creation of forest patterns on the mudflats, often known as "tidal trees." The unique scene was formed in cold conditions as the tides washed away the sediment and seawater inflow.
