China National Data Group established in Xiong'an New Area

(ECNS) — China National Data Group Co., a centrally administered state-owned enterprise specializing in the development and utilization of data resources, was established on Tuesday in Xiong'an New Area, Hebei Province, where it is headquartered.

The group aims to promote the development and use of data resources, unlock the value of data as a factor of production, support artificial intelligence development and foster a thriving data industry.

Following its establishment, the group said it will work under the guidance of relevant government departments to strengthen coordination between central and local authorities, deepen industrial collaboration, and promote the sharing of capabilities and experience as well as joint business development.
