Japanese bid farewell to the last two giant pandas(1/5)

As Japan would soon lose its last two giant pandas to China, Japanese fans flocked to Tokyo's Ueno Zoo on Tuesday to catch a final glimpse. The zoo estimates that about 178,000 visitors will come to see the pandas, Xiao Xiao and Lei Lei, between Dec. 16, 2025 and Jan. 25, 2026.
