More than 800 guests from nearly 30 countries, regions to attend Guangzhou investment conference

(ECNS) -- More than 800 guests from nearly 30 countries and regions have registered for the plenary session of the 12th Guangzhou International Investment Annual Conference, with 238 major companies confirmed to attend, organizers said on Thursday.

The conference will be held from Nov. 4 to 5 at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center. It will feature a plenary session, presentations on the city's modern industrial system and industry visits, alongside nearly 30 supporting events across Guangzhou.

The confirmed corporate participants include global companies such as Zeiss, Hyundai Motor, Maersk, Nestlé and Hitachi, as well as China Resources Group and Fosun International. The participating companies include those on the Fortune Global 500 and China 500 lists, as well as leading firms in various industries.

Industry visits will cover eight areas, including biomedicine and healthcare, semiconductors and new displays, advanced materials, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence and the digital economy, and intelligent connected vehicles and new energy vehicles.

The conference will also feature a high-level closed-door roundtable, where Guangzhou officials will hold discussions with executives from participating companies.
