(ECNS) -- China aims to increase skilled workers' share of the employed workforce to 35 percent by 2030, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security said on Saturday.
The country will further roll out the new eight-tier vocational skill grading system and push for the implementation of guidelines on salary distribution for skilled personnel, Wu Liduo, director general of the Department of Vocational Capacity Building of the ministry, said at a press conference.
These measures are designed to ensure skilled workers have room for career advancement and guaranteed remuneration, Wu said.
