(ECNS) -- China is committed to keeping the global industrial and supply chains of critical minerals safe and stable, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said Monday.

Guo made the remarks at a regular media briefing when asked about a U.S. official's statement that China had not fully resumed rare earth deliveries despite agreeing to do so at previous summits between the two countries' leaders.

China and the United States should jointly implement the important common understandings reached between the two presidents and maintain the steady growth momentum of bilateral economic and trade ties, the spokesperson added.
