PLA Air Force to send multiple military aircraft to Egypt air show

(ECNS) -- The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force will send multiple types of military aircraft to an international air show in Egypt from Sept. 8 to 10, China's Ministry of National Defense said on Sunday.

The PLA Air Force will send fighter jets, airborne early warning aircraft, refueling aircraft and helicopters to the event, which will be held at El Alamein International Airport, the ministry said.

The event will be the second El Alamein International Airshow, following its inaugural edition in 2024.

It will also mark the second time China has sent military aircraft to the event, with the participation aimed at enhancing mutual trust and expanding military cooperation between the two militaries, the ministry said.
