(ECNS) -- Chinese humanoid robot Tiangong clocked 8.86 seconds in the 100-meter semifinal of the large-size category at the second World Humanoid Robot Games on Tuesday, setting a new record.
Developed by the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, Tiangong’s run surpassed the 9.39-second mark recorded at the Games' opening ceremony.
