(ECNS) -- China's economy maintained a stable trajectory in the first seven months of 2026, with growth momentum shifting toward new drivers and higher-quality structures, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Monday.
Industrial output rose 5.3% yearonyear, while the services production index gained 4.7%.
Foreign trade totaled 30.13 trillion yuan ($4.47 trillion), up 17.3% from a year earlier. Retail sales of goods and services increased 2.6%, with services up 5.0% and goods up 1.1%.
NBS said investment in technology innovation and industrial upgrading continued to grow, supporting the transition to new momentum and improved economic structure.
