A building in the shape of a menggubao, or Mongolian yurt, has won the Red Dot Design Award, hailed as one of the top three design awards in the world. The building is on a great grassland near Saihanba National Forest Park, China's largest man-made woodland, in Chengde, North China's Hebei Province. Chinese-American actor Daniel Wu is said to have participated in the design work.
