Mount Shinmoedake continues to erupt on March 12, 2018 at the border of Miyazaki and Kagoshima prefectures, Japan. Mount Shinmoedake has been spewing ash for days but the volcano eruptions turned violent on Saturday after "large explosions" were recorded at the site.
