The sheep roundup is one of the most important events in Iceland’s countryside. The island’s sheep can freely roam the mountains and fjords during the summer, but by autumn when trees change colors it means the season for rounding them up and bringing them back home for the winter. Over Iceland’s long history, the event has turned into a cultural festival and popular tourist attraction. (Photo/Sipaphoto)
