A team at the Glasgow Science Centre (GSC) launched a Tunnock's Teacake, nicknamed Terry, into space in a fun experiment in Houston, Renfrewshire, Oct. 13, 2017, to spark interest in science. The Scottish confectionery took one hour 29 minutes to hit a peak altitude of 37,007 meters. It then took 40 minutes to return to Earth, landing in a tree in Galloway Forest Park. A camera attached to a hydrogen weather balloon broadcast Facebook Live images. (Photo/VCG)
