After 9 years, Lanzhou-Chongqing railway opens to traffic today(5/8)

A train running on Lanzhou-Chongqing line is about to leave a railway station in Lanzhou City, the capital of Northwest China’s Gansu Province, Sept. 29, 2017. Lanzhou-Chongqing railway, a major railway connecting Lanzhou City in Gansu Province with the southwestern metropolis Chongqing, fully opens to traffic on Friday. The railway, which started construction in 2008, also runs through northwest China's Shaanxi Province and southwest China's Sichuan Province.
