Sightseeing submarine Dragon No 3 was developed by Zhang Junlin’s team in Fuyang city, East China's Anhui province, Dec. 20, 2014. Designer and engineer Zhang Junlin, 62, led a team that developed the submarine over two years. It is 15 meters long, 2.1 meters wide and three meters high. Weighing 25 tons, it has the capacity to carry 20 passengers. The submarine can reach speeds of 15 nautical miles per hour and dive to a depth of up to 50 meters at a range of 50 nautical miles and remain underwater for 24 hours.
