Muddy floodwater surges to totally cover the Hukou Waterfall in the Yellow River located at the border between Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces, July 27, 2017. The maximum water flow rate reached 4,000 cubic meters per second, eight times higher than the normal rate and the largest flood peak this summer. The Hukou Waterfall, a popular tourist attraction, has now vanished under the torrents and tourists have been temporarily banned from visiting the site. (Photo/VCG)
