Sun Hongtao shows his paper folding work in Jinan City, capital of East China’s Shandong Province. Sun, a graduate of Shandong Experimental High School, secured an offer to study a Mechanical Design & Manufacturing and Automation major at Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai Campus) because the admission officer agreed to lower the minimum required entrance score by 60 points due to his remarkable skills in paper folding. Sun said he could fold many things vividly just with a square of paper, without the help of glue or cuts. Sun also said folding paper seems easy but requires a good sense of mathematics and spatial structure.(Photo/iqilu.com)
