Photos show firefighters resting on the ground on May 4 after fighting two back-to-back fires in Daxinganling Forest in northwest China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The firefighters immediately sprung into action after the first fire was reported on April 30. By May 4, they had worked 72 hours straight. About 10,000 hectares of forest were reportedly damaged by the fires. (Photo/China Daily)
