Two Italian police officers patrol at the Bund with Shanghai police today. A two-week program, where officers from both countries will patrol side by side at tourist areas in the capital and in Shanghai, was launched on April 24. Four Italian police officers will patrol in Shanghai from May 1 to May 5 at famous tourist attractions such as Lujiazui, Yuyuan Garden, the Bund and Xintiandi. In May last year, Chinese police officers joined their Italian counterparts for two weeks of joint patrols of tourist sites and Chinese communities in Rome and Milan. (Photo/Shanghai Morning Post)
