Foreigners experience cashless day in Hangzhou(5/10)

Tim Clancy (C), an Australian who has lived in Hangzhou for six years with his Chinese wife, takes his American friend to buy coffee and bread through mobile payment in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, April 14, 2017. Tim took his American friend to make a cash-free travel for one day in Hangzhou, with mobile phones being used to pay all of their costs. Dubbed the world's largest mobile payment city, more than 98 percent of Hangzhou's taxis, over 95 percent of supermarkets and convenience stores, and more than 50 percent of restaurants in Hangzhou have access to mobile payment services. With smartphones, tourists in Hangzhou can use mobile payment service when shopping, dining, or calling a cab. (Xinhua/Huang Zongzhi)
