The guided-missile destroyer Changsha (Hull 173), the guided-missile frigate Haikou (Hull 171) and the comprehensive supply ship Luomahu (Hull 964) attached to the South China Sea Fleet under the PLA Navy, carrying three ship-based helicopters and tens of special operation troops, have been engaged in high sea training in the South China Sea, the East Indian Ocean and the West Pacific Ocean since late February of 2017.
