A colony of more than 250,000 king penguins gather together to enjoy a beach day on the South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands despite snow and temperatures plunging well below freezing. Thousands of penguins congregate on the beach, where they can easily access the sea to hunt for fish and raise their chicks. Retired engineer Ofer Agiv was able to get up close to the large penguins after visiting South Georgia during an 18-day trip to Antarctica. (Photo/CFP)
