Dayandong Primary School is located in Dayandong village in Liucheng county, the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. With the reform of rural education and urbanization, more and more rural students have gone to primary schools in town. Li Jianwen became the only student of the primary school. The only teacher who has been accompanying him in the school is Pan Shanji. Pan was the first high school graduate from the remote Dayandong village, and has spent the past 37 years as a committed educator.
