Tens of thousands of mourners attended the funeral of a 32-year-old Yunnan police officer killed in an operation to arrest drug smugglers on November 7, 2016. Police in Yunnan have caught four suspected drug dealers who shot dead the policeman on November 4. Myanmar police handed over the final suspect caught in Myanmar at the border port of Daluo, 30 hours after the police officer was killed. Two guns and 21 kilos of drugs were seized in the operation.
