Members of the diving taskforce, a unit of Special Forces at the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, train in Beijing. The taskforce founded in 1984 has 20 special police officers responsible for checking water security during important events. The force usually requires a member to complete a comprehensive three-year training program that has a passing rate as low as 20 percent. Most members are from national wrestling teams, swimmers and retired navy divers.(Photo: China News Service/Ren Haixia)
