Part of the Passage du Gois that links the Island of Noirmoutier with the Gulf of Burnёf is submerged in France. People are only allowed to use the 4.3 kilometer-long natural passage for a few hours each day because rising tides flood the road during the rest of the time. To avoid skidding on the slippery road, it is advised to drive more slowly, to avoid having to brake suddenly when needed. (Photo/Weibo of CCTV)
