Traditional Chinese orchestra sparkles in Beijing(1/6)

A grand traditional orchestra concert was held on Monday at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, and was the first traditional music work created jointly by musicians, writers and historians in the country. The concert, called "Image?Pure Land" ("Yi Xiang? Jing Tu" in Chinese), was held by the Chinese Conservatory of Music, Jing Wen Hua Classical Music Research Center and Academy of Chinese Traditional Poetry, and was funded by the Chinese National Endowment for the Arts. The event was to mark the 65th anniversary of the university, attracting audiences from all walks of life.
