940 baby Siamese crocodiles seized near China-Vietnam border(3/3)

Siamese crocodiles are seized by border soldiers during a patrol at a port close to the China-Vietnam border in Fangchegngang City, South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Aug. 29, 2016. Soldiers confiscated a total of 940 small Siamese crocodiles, which were around 15 days old and measured 25 centimeters long. Local forestry authorities are investigating the case. The crocodile is classified as critically endangered on the IUCN Red List, and is also a first-degree animal under state protection in China. (Photo: China News Service/Yu Zhen)
