The Sichuan Southwest Vocational College of Civil Aviation has offered a new helicopter pilot training program that says graduates can earn an annual salary up to 600,000 yuan ($91,000). Zhang Lin, the director of the college’s student admission department, said China’s plan to open low-altitude airspace will result in a shortage of 8,000 pilots by 2020. The college plans to recruit 50 students this year, who are expected to meet stringent requirements. (Photo/newssc.org)
