Several schools in China have made national headlines after huge members of students were suspected to have been poisoned and left sick from synthetic sports fields. The Chengdu school, which has more than 400 students, demolished a synthetic area of 1,600 square meters, built at a cost of 500,000 yuan ($76,000), and now plans to convert the area to cement amid safety concerns.
