Mongolian traditional craftsman Nuomin shows a bow he made while standing in front of a wall with a picture of Genghis Khan in his home in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, June 12, 2016. Archery was one of three essential skills that Mongolian men need to learn in the past. Nuomin has devoted himself to making traditional bows for more than two decades, becoming an officially recognized expert in the old technique. He said bow making requires five steps including the preparation of bamboo, sinew and horn, and takes a year to complete. The bow’s size has remained basically the same at 1.5 meters and has a range of range of more than 650 meters. (Photo: China News Service/Liu Wenhua)
