Zoo cuts deer antlers to avert fighting (2/3)

A photo taken on May 24, 2016 shows the antlers of a sika deer have been cut off at a zoo in Southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality. The zoo said antlers were deliberately removed to stop deer from fighting and to prevent illegal hunting of the animal for its antlers, which can be used in traditional tonics. (Photo/IC)
