Hong Kong-aided panda base opens in Wolong(1/5)

Hong Kong Chief Secretary for Administration Carrie Lam poses with a giant panda for a picture at the newly opened Shenshuping base of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Gengda Township, Wolong Natural Reserve, Southwest China’s Sichuan Province, May 11, 2016. The overall floor size of the base is 19,844.51 square meters and the project has been aided by the Hong Kong SAR Government. The base has three major functional areas - a giant panda breeding area, a wild training area and a wildlife public education area.
