Pictures taken in Xiangcheng Village, Guyuan Township, Shangrao City of Jiangsu Province. In the eyes of left-behind children whose parents migrated to work in big cities, Dennis said he felt the power of perseverance. (Photo by Dennis)

In 1995, a Minolta X-700 camera inspired Dennis’ original interest in photography. His hobby became a passion and career that he has maintained for more than 20 years.

A native of South China’s Guangdong Province, Dennis lives in Suzhou City of East China’s Jiangsu Province. He said he is fond of exploring life in different environments and from different perspectives to express his respect for life and striving to reflect human nature.

He has covered a broad range of topics including landscapes, portraits, drama and the environment before focusing on documentaries and news reporting in recent years.

On his blog, where he likes to be called Qiushanyehong (Red Leaves on an Autumn Mountain), the photographer shares a great number of photos about old towns where people still enjoy a slower pace of life http://my.poco.cn/id-64776810.shtml .

Dennis said he is convinced good pictures are rich in content and can speak for themselves.
