Photo taken on May 8, 2016 shows the scenery of the grand canyon of Shangri-La, Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Diqing in southwest China's Yunnan Province. Timber logging used to be the main economic source in Shangri-la before 1998. The local government has been taking efforts in the improvement of ecological environment in recent years. Currently the forest coverage rate in Shangri-la has risen to 76 percent, nearly four percentage point higher as compared with a decade ago. (Photo: Xinhua/Lin Yiguang)
