China's Minister of Culture Luo Shugang (2nd R), Zhang Zhijun (1st R), head of the Taiwan Work Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, and Master Hsing Yun (3rd R) unveil the returning head of an ancient Buddha statue of the North Qi dynasty in Beijing, capital of China, March 1, 2016. The white marble Buddha statue, which was made around 556, was originally worshipped at Youju Temple in north China's Hebei Province, where the Buddha's head was stolen in 1996. Master Hsing Yun, founder of Fo Guang Shan Monastery in Taiwan, decided to return the 80 kg statue head to the mainland after it was presented to him by a follower in 2014. A returning ceremony was held at the National Museum of China in Beijing Tuesday. (Photo: Xinhua/Li He)
