Fake gold Chinese notes are seized in Shenzhen City, South China’s Guangdong Province, Jan. 26, 2016, along with a fake certificate that claims the notes are 99.9 percent gold. Sellers had the notes confiscated and were also fined approximately one to three times the amount of potential illegal gains. Used mainly as gifts, the product’s wholesale price is two yuan ($0.3).
