Fugitive Kang Taeyong (C, front) is escorted at Lukou international airport in Nanjing, east China's Jiangsu Province, Dec. 16, 2015. Chinese police on Wednesday handed over a Korean fugitive on Interpol's Most Wanted List to their Republic of Korea (ROK) counterparts at Nanjing airport. It is alleged Kang Taeyong, 54, extorted about 1.5 trillion won (about 1.2 billion U.S. dollars) from more than 30,000 people in ROK between 2007 and 2008. Interpol listed him as a most wanted fugitive in November 2008, but they suspect he quickly fled to China. Following approval from the Ministry of Public Security, Jiangsu's Wuxi City Police arrested Kang on Oct. 10. (Photo: Xinhua/Han Yuqing)
