18441 "dancing grannies" danced to "Little Apple" lyric in in Xianghe, central China’s Hebei Province on Saturday, breaking the Guinness World Record of the largest organized line dance set by 17,200 people in Atlanta, U.S., in 2007. Among all in red dancing in the rainy and chilling weather, most were women in their middle ages. The "Little Apple" lyric is one of the most popular songs people love to dance to in square dancing. The square dancing in China is an exercise routine performed to music in squares, plazas or parks. It is popular with middle-aged and retired women who have been referred to as "dancing grannies".
