A white-flag dolphin is seen in Pearl River at Fangcun ferry in Guangzhou, South China’s Guangdong province on October 21, 2015. The dolphin swam in the river area for nearly two hours before it disappeared in water. The white-flag dolphin, another rare species of freshwater mammal in the Yangtze River, was proclaimed "functionally extinct" in 2006 because the population was too small for the species to reproduce effectively. The rare dolphin is listed as one of the 12 most endangered species in the world. (Photo/CFP)
