Tourists look at a giant monument devoted to the Shennong Bencaojing (The Divine Farmer's Herbal Medicine Classic) in Nanning city, capital of Southwest China’s Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, July 21, 2015. Shennong, also known as the Emperor of the Five Grains, was a legendary ruler of China and a cultural hero. He is said to have tasted hundreds of herbs to test their medicinal value. The most well-known work attributed to Shennong is The Divine Farmer's Herbal Medicine Classic, which talks about agriculture and medicinal plants. (Photo: China News Service/Hu Yan)
