A combination photo shows a picture of a battle command of Unit 731, a covert biological and chemical warfare unit of the Japanese forces during the Second World War, and Chinese survivor Feng Huanxi. Feng, 84, was a survivor when Japan launched germ warfare in East China’s Zhejiang province. Chinese researchers have published new studies containing files and documents regarding Japanese troops undertaking biological warfare in China. The command was signed by Yoshijirō Umezu, the commander-in-chief of the Japanese Kwangtung Army, on July 25, 1940. (Photo/Xinhua)
