Combination photo taken during the anti-Japanese War (from 1937 to 1945) and June 29, 2015 (down) shows a contrast of view of the same street in Xiangyun County near an airbase where the American Volunteer Group (AVG) stationed during the wartime, southwest China's Yunnan Province. The "Yunnanyi Airport" was used as an airbase by the AVG, which is popular known as the "Flying Tigers", led by U.S. General Claire Lee Chennault to help the Chinese fight against Japanese air forces.
