A farmer’s house, unusually known as “nail house” in China, stands isolated at a construction site in Cuiping district, Yibin city, Southwest China’s Sichuan province, May 19, 2015. A "nail house" is a home whose resident refuses to leave in order to make way for new construction, mostly due to disagreements with developers over compensation. The house is left alone on a 10-meter-high mound while builders have elaborately constructed around it. Two old people still live in the house and have no water, power, or road access. (Photo/CFP)
