Longshan Period tombs discovered in Shandong (1/3)

Skeletons lying in various positions are unearthed in an ancient tomb that dates back to the Longshan Period, the late period of the Neolithic Age (2900 BC to 2100 BC), in Yantai, Shandong Province, April 9, 2013. The influence of Longshan Culture can be found in the middle and lower areas of the Yellow River Valley flowing through Shandong, Henan, Shaanxi, and Shanxi Provinces.
