Jiuding Mountain: a masterpiece of nature, a paradise for hikers (1/6)

The Jiuding Mountain is seen in Mao County, Aba Prefecture, Southwest China's Sichuan Province. It is famous for its attractive peaks, trees, snowy mountains, valleys, meadows, lakes and rich culture of the Jie and Qiang, ancient nationalities of China. Located in the Daxue Mountains, part of a complicated system of mountain ranges of western Sichuan, which itself is adjacent to the eastern edge of the Tibetan Plateau, the Jiuding Mountain has an elevation of 4,969 metres (16,302 ft) above sea level.
